Nobby Reed has released his first solo album, Guitar On My Back, which spotlights this veteran axeman's scintillating, blues-based emotional guitar playing and soulful, gritty vocals. Reed's live performances have been called electrifying, and Guitar On My Back finds the gutiarist bringing an intense sincerity to his playing and singing that rivals some of the most contemporary blues artists. Reed jams from start to finish on this CD, the opening track, "Out The Bottle" setting the stage with rocking guitarflash. Guitar On My Back is a bright spot for the blues.
