Upfall is an instrumental EP/CD ranging in style from clean sounding,
free-time improvisational pieces, to complex, heavy,
dissonant harmonies and thick arrangements. Mikko Kosonen,
a 22-year-old Berklee graduate from Finland, is joined on
bass by Andy DeLuca on this both technically, and musically,
challenging metal release. A quick-hitter at only twelve minutes in length, Upfall was recorded at the Rat-Hole in Boston and at Island Recording Studios in Chicago, with Kosonen himself managing the engineering and mixing duties.
