Ostinato

A bassist with Yngwie J. Malmsteen and previously with Ritchie Blackmore, Mick Cervino has toured the world with the best. Performing, recording and doing TV appearances from a young age in his native Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mick moved to Spain at age 18 and did session work and tours with various Hispanic recording artists. He joined the '80s San Francisco band Rival, a guest act for Molly Hatchet, Robin Trower, Greg Kihn and John Waite. Fulfilling his childhood dream of meeting and playing with Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple, Rainbow) Mick joined The Man In Black in 1997 on his Rennaissance project Blackmore's Night, participating in the recording of "Under A Violet Moon" CD and tour/video and on the tour/video of "Shadow Of The Moon".
Mick's love for Baroque and classical music prompted him to record his one-of-a-kind solo album, Ostinato, featuring strictly bass guitars on compositions by Bach, Mozart, Chopin and others, including his own from Ostinato.
