Live 2000, the phenomenal double live disc from axemaster supreme, Michael Landau, features 14 awesome tracks of outstanding, world-class, powerful, dynamic, intense, bluesy-fusion, heavy guitar power trio grooves that burn deeply and exceed new levels of true guitar greatness. Michael Landau is one of the best guitarists in the world. Period. On the Live 2000 disc (recorded at the legendary Baked Potato in Los Angeles), he digs in deep and waves his bluesy-fusion Hendrix-inspired freak flag high with raw, gorgeous, passionate, brilliant guitar playing. His world-class signature and explosive fretwork breathes fire with every note he plays. Michael Landau is an incredible technical monster with serious chops galore, tones and sounds, complete with an abundance of get-down, righteous Hendrix-ian bluesy feel. Landau supplies the brilliant axework and is backed by Jimmy Johnson on bass and Toss Panos on drums (two amazing heavyweight players in their own right) on the (mostly instrumental) Live 2000 disc. The end result is nothing short of amazing.
