Michael Angelo's first solo CD, No Boundaries, originally released in 1995, has been heralded as one of the top ten instrumental guitar CD's of the '90's. Kevin Prowse writes, "Although I have never heard Angelo's former band "Nitro", this instrumental offering is definitely on of the best of the 90's. He starts off with a guitar solo which begins with great sweep arpeggios and furious displays of speed picking. The album is a diverse collection of musical styles ranging from rock, metal, blues, neoclassical and funk. This is an album I can listen to straight through. If I had to pick favorites, they would be "Science Fiction", "Rain Forest" and the title track "No Boundaries". These songs exhibit a mastery of various lead techniques like speed picking, string skipping, arpeggios and cross string tapping. He is one of the cleanest guitarists ever and a big influence on my style. Great album that is a definite must buy!"
