Pictures Of A Dream is a fantastic home studio, instrumental guitar creation by Swedish guitarist/keyboardist/producer Mathias Holm. Holm rates Al Di Meola, Vinnie Moore and Mike Oldfield as his biggest influences, and his compositional style definitely favors Moore. Holm graces each cut on the CD with dizzying solos, Pentium-speed passages and the aggression and passion his energetic music deserves. Pictures Of A Dream features a total of sixteen (count 'em, sixteen!) instrumentals showcasing Holm's command of the guitar particularly "Voyage" and "Day Of Silence."
