Picks On Chet!, featuring Mark Hill on Gibson Electric Classical, Gibson Country Gentleman and '60s Anniversary Gretsch, is a compilation of tributes to the master of fingerstyle guitar, Chet Atkins, and to Hill's father, who taught him how to play and introduced him to the Country Gentleman. Hill is the guitarist about which Guitar For The Practicing Musician wrote, "As with all the greats, when the music is spoken so well, anyone can enjoy it. Mark's playing flows like water going downstream." Hill is joined on the album by Steve Hill on percussion and Scott Medford on rhythm guitar. Picks On Chet! was produced by Dave Hill.
