Chicago-area guitarist Loren Middleton is an accomplished professional and consummate musician who has devoted his energy and passion to musical composition and production. Influenced by some of the greatest musicians, such as Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, George Benson, Miles Davis, Carlos Santana, Prince, George Clinton, and Dr. Dre, Middleton strived to become an eclectic and premier musician with a signature flavor and style. Driven by his love for music creation and the endless frustration with gigging in clubs and politics in the music industry, while taking advantage of his broad musical performance and production experience, Middleton has released his first CD, Doin' It While I Can, an instrumental trip into fusion, jazz and rock which showcases a decidedly improvisational guitar layered over modern beatbox rhythms.
