Logic?
Sold through Guitar Nine thru 2012

Logic has been making waves on the Australian jazz/fusion scene since its inception in 1999. The group has supported international acts such as The Yellowjackets, and has performed at major jazz festivals including the 2001 Melbourne International Festival of Jazz, Electric Jazz Festival and the Ultimate Drummers Weekend. The ensemble features a mainly original repertoire, composed by Glenn Cannon and Tim Wilson. The four members have dedicated themselves to creating a fresh, contemporary sound, combining elements of jazz, Latin and fusion. Joining Wilson and Cannon is the formidable team of Darryn Farrugia (drums) and Craig Newman (bass), both of whom have been involved in the project from the beginning. Logic features a large portion of original compositions, which are well complimented by clever arrangements of "Giant Steps" and "Norwegian Wood". From tight driving grooves to reflective ballads, this is a most impressive debut from the quartet. The self-titled debut album was recorded in July 2001 and has received solid airplay both in Australia (PBS FM) and in various countries throughout the world.
