Kopecky is one instrumental band who've definately forged their own hard rock sound. On their self-titled debut CD, the three brothers Kopecky, Joe (guitar, tambourine, bells), Paul (acoustic and electric percussion) and William (bass guitar, sitar, keyboards) favor exotic and ethnic colorations as a counter dynamic to the predominanty hard rock and even metal rhythms and beats. This gives the trio a truly unique sonic position among instrumental bands, as songs such as "Sukha", "Crimson Crime 2-1-3" and "Yama" are desitined to become Kopecky-style trademarks.
