One is guitarist Ken Snyder's musical metal vision, instrumental guitar music influenced by everything from the '60s to the '90s (Satriani, Vai, Page, Blackmore, Hendrix, Malmsteen, Van Halen, Gary Moore, Al DiMeola, Holdsworth, Blackmore, Jeff Beck). Snyder handles all the instrumentation, production and engineering himself, which means he's able to put the guitar front and center at all times, ripping out shredded licks ("Shredder's Paradise"), rhythmic trippiness ("Little Princess") and pumping riffs ("Throwback"). One is a way to experience a self-taught guitarist taking full advantage of creative control to fuel a guitar-heavy CD release.
