Montreux Boogie, by the Jukka Tolonen Band, is an all-instrumental, 'hybrid' live CD, with "This One's For William", "Can I Have A Slice", "Hanryckning" and the title track recorded live at the Montreux Jazz Festival on July 7th, 1978, and "Lama" and "Carnival" recorded 'live in the studio' at Studio Decibel, Stockholm on August 17th and 18th, 1978. Jukka Tolonen is not only Finland's national guitar hero but also one of the world's most respected guitarists. For the past four decades, he has captivated audiences throughout Scandinavia and Europe with his powerful and passionate works. He remains one of the the most diverse guitarists playing today, being equally proficient in a blues, rock, or fusion/jazz environment.
