Taking a 360 degree turn from his 1997 eponymous debut instrumental hard rock 'n' shred CD, guitarist Joy Basu serves up a keyboard/guitar/machine-heavy electronia mix with Sinergy. Some of Basu's recent performance credits include J-Lo, Jessica Simpson, Nick Lachey, Joi, CoCo Lee, and Angie Stone. The tracks on Sinergy have today's hottest trance, house, techno, industrial, breakbeats, with traditional shred and modern innovative guitar effects. Some of the special guests on the CD include Julie Greaux (keys and/or vocals for Billy Idol, Berlin, Louis Migel), and David Vee (keys for The Gap Band, Jody Watley, David Lee Roth). Basu also whips out his axe for some heavy, ripping guitar fills/solos on tracks such as "Discharge", "Cyborg", "Phase 4" and "Clarity".
