John G's debut solo CD, Acoustical Climate, features 13 songs of acoustic guitar based pop/folk and John G himself on lead vocals. After growing up playing in crazy rock and roll bands all over Boston, John G decided he had finally realized what it is he does best, and that is what you will hear on Acoustical Climate -- acoustic songs in a pop format sung with a rock'n'roll conviction and passion. Highlights include the opening track, "Country Songs", "Devil's Eye", and "Big Train", a song which gets its name from Walter "Big Train" Johnson, one of the greatest pitchers ever to play baseball.
