Let Johannes Linstead's lively rhythms, fiery fretwork and gorgeous melodies take you on a passionate and exotic journey through Caribbean and South American daydreams and nightdances. Kiss The Earth is traditional and contemporary flamenco at its finest. The album spent over two months on Billboard's new age chart. Jonathan Widran at the All Music Guide said this about Kiss The Earth, "Acoustic guitarist Johannes Linstead continues his journey through a groovin' pop flamenco-land on this second release. He's mining the same territory as he did on his debut, "Sol Luna Tierra", but with slightly more aggression on the up-tempo tracks and more elegant ambience and texture on the romantic pieces. He also adds the piano and bouzouki to his impressive multi-instrumentalist resume."
