Arrival is the critically acclaimed debut release from drummer Joe Bergamini, with song compostions by gutiarist/keyboardist Zak Rizvi and production by Dom Famularo. Released in 1996, this CD is a must for any guitar and/or drum enthusiast! Arrival features all the members of the band 4Front and the sessions marked the initial formation of that band. It features ten instrumental tracks, one of which ("Things As They Are") is a seven-minute solo drum composition. Fusion, hard rock and progressive guitar fans will marvel at the taste, speed and dexterity displayed by the talented Rizvi - his axe is all over this release. In fact, the CD does an excellent job at presenting the abilities of all three musicians, including bassist Frank LaPlaca. As reviewed in Guitar 2001 magazine, "Arrival is tightly packed with well-presented goodies, and is highly recommended."
