Blue Guitar

Jerry Palmer's 1994 CD Blue Guitar features twelve steel string acoustic guitar instrumentals performed on Taylor, Martin and Guild guitars. Deep between the strings of a guitar is a whole world of texture and emotion. Palmer explores this world with a rare sensitivity and imagination that makes guitar strings roll and sound come together in savory harmonies. Palmer's melodies float while rhythms build in a very intimate, yet spacious music. From the delicacy of "Sleep Talk" and the classical bent of the title track to the herky jerky happiness of "Busy Bones", Blue Guitar is an instrumental journey that takes the listener into a landscape of dreams and visions.
