Garlic Butter features South Korea's answer to America's Richie Kotzen and Paul Gilbert -- the incendiary guitarist Il-Min Choi. Both technical and melodic, and capable of high-speed soloing, Choi is more riff-oriented than Kotzen, keeping a solid groove at all times to complement the intense lead work. Garlic Butter offers ten instrumental tracks -- from the heavy-hitting opening title track and the powerful "The Next War II" to the beautiful acoustic closer "Horizon" -- in a variety of settings, Choi delivers on his promise of exciting instrumental guitar.
