Offering a creative mix hard rock, electronica, metal and shred genres is China's Hau Ming, who favors samples and other modern elements on his CD entitled Fairy Rhapsody. The almost all instrumental tracks (a few cuts have sampled vocals and other treatments) feature biting, freaked-out guitar, supplemented by keyboard and drum machine backing, and include a number of influences from traditional Eastern music as well. The liner notes are completely in Chinese, so information is scarce, but you can amaze your friends with your own take on what's happening on this mostly instrumental release. The sound clips will have to suffice, so give Ming and his music a careful listen.
