Hands On Strings... more than two guitars! A chance meeting of these two musicians brought a solo jazz electric/acoustic guitarist (Stephan Bormann) and an acoustic guitar specialist (Thomas Fellow) together, as they meet in the center of their musical worlds for an album of contrasts. With Offroad, Bormann and Fellow continue their singular musical dialog. Their interaction encompasses the intensity of two humans, whose common denominator is a genuine interest to oppose. Bormann and Fellow create the language with their music - at times temperate and enthusiastic (as on "Zulu"), at other times inspiring and strong (as heard on "Feria"), and even subtlety erotic (as on "Midnight Train"). And with the classic Piazzolla tune "Libertango", the duo's interpretation leaves no doubt you are listening to two exceptionally gifted guitarists.
