Funnybone's hard rock instrumental debut CD features plenty of amped-up beats and super-tough, assertive guitars, driven by the axe of California guitarist Jimmy Teach. Bassist Phil Yanez and drummer Bobby Townsend round out this trio, who've been playing together for over ten years. Funnybone's approach is to take rock, jazz, blues and many other styles and influences, and throw them into a musical blender. The end result is a smokin' Funnybone song, smothered in feel, tone and vibe. You'll come for the guitar and stay for the interesting and expressive music - some nice work.
