Vitamin Ass, from the Boston-based band The Flux, delivers a slamming mix of pop, punk, humor and tons o' guitar. This power trio plays a mix of heavy guitar riff/pop with a punk feel and catchy melodies, topped with lyrics relating to personal experiences, captured in tunes such as "I Feel Your Pain" and "Walking In This Desert". Outrageous and comical outbursts such as "Zelda The Monster" and "Stinky Feet" give the CD it's lyrical 'edge'. "We have no limit to subject matter" says Beak, the bass monster. "We can be fun or serious without being boring". The band formed in 1994 with lead guitarist Bridget Murphy and Beak, then quickly added drummer John "Neville" Kerr and the lineup was complete. Murphy's guitar work sets Vitamin Ass on fire--be sure to get your daily dosage.
