Electric Skies

From guitarist/producer Shaun Michaud and his band Event (formed at the Berklee College of Music) comes Electric Skies, a CD that aims to set a new standard in the progressive rock sound. The song forms are simple, and integrated with short but technically demanding instrumental sections. Elements of progressive rock and metal combined with techno and special effects help to create the unique sound of the band. The vocals are melodic and powerful, while the creative keyboard and synth sounds framing the music envelope the listener as the rhythms move effortlessly through each song. Electric Skies will thrill anyone into intricate, high-speed guitar work, and will appeal to those seeking more complexity than run-of-the-mill metal.
