Twanguero

Diego Garcia is a guitarist and composer from Spain, who combines a little Danny Gatton, Scott Henderson, Michael Lee Firkins, Johnny A and Pat Metheny. Garcia is based in Madrid and Valencia and has previously collaborated with artists such as Andres Calamaro, Santiago Auseron, TamTamGo, Manolo Tena and Jaime Urrutia, among others. In 2009, Garcia released his second album, Twanguero, a collection of original instrumental tracks melding the blues, jazz and country idioms with the expressive force of his guitar. The album features guest musicians such as Bimba Bose, Diego Galaz, Mauri Sanchis, Candy Candy and Javier Mora, as well as Jorge Garcia on drums and Dani Casielles on bass.
