Acoustic Visions is Chastain's first true solo acoustic guitar recording. Recorded with six- and twelve-string acoustic guitars, and with no overdubs, this 11 track journey explores exotic musical vistas such as Mexico ("Pyramid Of The Sun"), India ("Inner Journeys"), Egypt ("Set") and Atlantis ("Escape From Thera"). Acoustic Visions is at once mystical and imaginitive, and yet retains the heaviness characterized by all of Chastain's work to date.
