With his Zebra Acoustic debut, guitarist/composer David Pritchard has delivered a recording of brilliantly innovative music. Unassigned Territory is a beautiful concept of ambient multiple-acoustic and classical guitars. The hypnotic, mesmerizing musical landscapes are characterized by shifting overlapping meters and sparkling melodic patterns. David has gathered fellow guitarists Dale Turner, Joseph Jewel and Jack Majdecki, all masters of the instrument. When brought together, they weave a gentle yet potent energy into David's compositions. Add the ethereal vocals of mezzo-soprano Teri De Sario (on three tracks), whose voic blends seamlessly with the acoustic guitar ensemble, and a moving musical mosaic is created. Unassigned Territory is an exquisite listening experience that is not to be missed.
