JazzPunk features guitarist David "Fuze" Fiuczynski dissecting, destroying and resurrecting your favorite standards and covers -- on both fretless and fretted guitars. This fearless improvisor and soloist tackles tunes such as Pat Metheny's "Bright Size Life", lays into Jimi Hendrix' "Third Stone From The Sun", reinvents Chick Corea's "La Fiesta" and harmonically blasts and rhythmically chugs through compositions by Chopin, John Phillip Sousa and George Russell, among others. Each tune on JazzPunk is reworked in Fuze's distinctive musical combinations as he puts his unmistakable arranging and guitaristic stamp on each offering.
