Philadelphia saxophonist Chris Farr and guitarist Erik Sayles, the core of Common Ground, create a debut CD of cutting-edge jazz with drummer Zach Danziger (Michel Camilo), Tim Lefebvre (Leni Stern) and special guests Randy Brecker and Dennis Chambers. As Jazz Tims reports, "The spaces speak as loudly as the noises for the intense duo Common Ground. Their eponymously titled album uses brisk, unusual timings and breaks to barrel through an eclectic range of styles."
