Buddy Dughi's EP/CD Plays Hot Rod Surf offers 10 instrumentals recorded with Dughi's Standel 25LIS amp and a Fender Reverb tank and his custom-built Fender Jaguar double neck guitar, except "Devil's Octane" recorded with a Fender Pro Jr. amp with a Fender reverb tank and his Hallmark Sweptwing guitar. Seven of the tracks are Dughi originals, along with three cover tunes ("Fireball", "Pipeline" and "10 Miles Of Bad Road"). In addition to Dughi's guitar work, the trio features Tom Thomas on drums and Suzy Dughi on bass. As Deke Dickerson says, "If you like doubleneck guitars with twice the twang and reverb, you will dig what Buddy's layin' down!"
