Dreams Of Brazil is Massachusetts guitarist Brian Rolland's second CD of acoustic guitar instrumentals, this time featuring infectious Brazilian rhythms and a supporting cast including John Lockwood on bass and Bob Weiner on drums and percussion. Rolland writes of his inspiration, "I dreamt of Brazil. The greens of the forests and the breadth of the Amazon, currents tapping on a boat's hull in mid-morning, life on the streets of a bustling port town, the sight of Portuguese explorer's caravels plying those coasts in ancient times. Excitement and anticipation in the evening and it's music, the varied colors of a romantic encounter, then the unfolding of a new day...."
