Watch The Sky

Watch The Sky features a shimmering collection of eight original contemporary fusion compositions which showcase guitarist Bill Hart's twenty-five years of playing experience. Currently the head of the Guitar Department at the Atlanta Institute of Music, Hart is an ultra-tasty soloist, turning up the juice when required while demonstrating a mastery of 'playing the rests'. Studying with jazz legends Mike Stern, Steve Kahn, Scott Henderson and Wayne Krantz has honed Hart's phrasing, as evidenced on the highlight tracks "Grumpy", "Beached Isle", "Simple Simon" and the title track. Open your ears to Watch The Sky -- a jazz fusion album that convincingly stakes out Bill Hart's territory as a solo artist.
