The incredible bassist Barry Sparks (Michael Schenker Group, Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore) is also a highly skilled guitarist as well, as demonstrated on the all-acoustic, all instrumental Glimmer Of Hope. The CD features eleven dynamic, high energy acoustic compositions which showcase Sparks' compelling songwriting and his playing ability, which is formidable. Barry's brother, Kevin Sparks, also guests on twelve-string guitar on three cuts, "The Way Home", "Flight Of The Firefly" and "Endless Flight". Glimmer Of Hope is a great acoustic guitar recording for fans of sinewy improvisations and flowing melodic lines all delievered with a rocker's attitude and intensity.
