Reviewer Michael Dalakos at the Temple Of Metal web site writes about Angelo Perlepes' Mystery's 2004 CD, Destiny, "Angelo Perlepes seems so alone in the dry neoclassic scene of Greece (the what? Do we even have such a scene?). Through the years he has released magnificent albums of pure neoclassic / symphonic metal in the vein of his mentors (Blackmore / Malmsteen). His latest achievement in 2004 is titled Destiny (a quite visionary title don't you agree?). Bringing to mind Soulfly and Slipknot, no no no, just kidding. Angelo's works are 100% guaranteed metal. In fact he is one of the few people that I'm buying his works with ears sealed. The day Angelo will release a bad work I will stop listening to Soulfly, sorry, I mean metal. Staccato like hell the band sounds like a human metronome and every time Sirgiannis is reaching the refrain you get the urge to rise your hand to the sky. Angelo, man I don't know how to thank you. Keep the metal flag high to the sky! Should I mention this is a must have for the metal fans?"
