Fusion
The newest fusion foursome out of the Buffalo area is The Zone, with their debut CD, Zone One, featuring the fusion guitar playing of Gamalon's Tony Scozzaro matched with the ace keyboard work of Jay Willis. Rounding out the group are brothers Paul (drums) and Rick (bass) Fadale. Guitar aficionados will enjoy two complementary sides of Scozzaro - the jazz-based, smooth stylings found on tracks such as "Jacqueline" and "Lake Erie" and the fiery fury delivered on "Monsters" and "I've Asked For Change", among others. An all instrumental recording, Zone One features guitars and keyboards interwoven and intermeshed, as well as several extended solo sections where each instrument takes the spotlight. Bottom line - Scozzaro fans have yet another chance to experience this veteran guitarist in a slightly different setting. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion), total running time, 39:42
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Tony Scozzaro?
