Chicago-area guitarist Steve Rotter has released his debut CD, entitled Wraith. The album features 8 instrumental and 3 vocal tracks and is hard rock driven with neoclassical overtones. A wickedly fast soloist, Rotter's style is reminiscent of guitarists such as Randy Rhodes, Paul Gilbert and Oz Fox. Three years in the making, Wraith demonstrates Rotter's attention to detail in both production and songwriting, as heard on tunes such as "Freakshow", "La Dance De Sol" and the heavy title track.
