Joining John to form his one-time-only dream band are Kenny Garrett (sax), Brad Meldhau (piano), Christian McBride (bass) and Billy Higgins (drums). Billy Higgins is a jazz legend (some of the songs on this disc were inspired by his classic recordings), and Meldhau brings a new sensitivity and energy to jazz piano.
