The California Guitar Trio's 2002 CD is entitled "CG3+2" and it features guests Tony Levin (bass, stick) and Pat Mastelotto (traps), a lot of new material, and mind-blowing improvisations with the Trio, Tony, and Pat in true form. A total of fourteen tracks grace the disc, with highlights including the Yes cover tune "Heart Of The Sunrise", "Melrose Avenue" and "Zundoko-Bushi". Wonderfully recorded and mixed, this album is sure to be an exciting addition to any California Guitar Trio fan's collection of music.
