Born in Sweden in 1988, Randen started playing guitar at the tender age of 9. He made his first public appearance at Sweden Rock Festival at theage of 11, playing with Swedish power rock trio Freak Kitchen. At age 11 he also made a stunning appearance performing Frank Zappas polyrhythmic nightmare "Black Page". Only 12 years old Randen began recording his debut album with mentor/good friend/guitar hero Mattias "IA" Eklundh, guitar player and lead singer with Freak Kitchen and (Favored Nations) solo artist. His debut album "Lead Guitar" was released worldwide in the spring of 2001. So far the album has received great reviews in Scandinavia, USA, Russiaa and Japan. In the spring of 2003, Randen visited Japan for a very successful clinic/promotional tour including TV interviews and a DVD recording for Japanese guitar magazine "Young Guitar". "Version 2.0" is Randen's second album, featureing 14 all instrumental tracks packed with innovative and tasteful playing. Randen has developed a unique sound at a very young age which can be heard throughout all of the tunes.
