Guitarist Ben Trexel's second instrumental CD is entitled Under The Radar, featuring twelve more examples of his hard rock prowess, blusey soloing, industrial touches and acoustic guitar treatments. Excellent production sets this CD apart from the pack, with John Williams' pounding drums adding the requisite heaviness to Trexel's well thought out compositions. Cuts such as "Wake Up!", "Hard Drive", "Sahara" and the title track recall the heavier moments of Ronnie Montrose, Steve Hunter and Marc Bonilla, while songs like "Alligator Waltz", "Web Of Moments" and a few of the intros add the nice "Physical Graffiti"-era, Zeppelin-like, acoustic break between high-energy numbers.
