Bon's Two Plus Two is a kind of 'best of Bon' with tracks 1 and 2 being previously unreleased compositions recorded in April of 2004, and the remaining tracks a collection of guitarist Bon Lozaga's favorite tunes from the first two Bon CDs, "To The Bone" and "Full Circle/Coming Home". The "To The Bone" tracks (3, 4, 5) feature the incredible Vic Stevens on drums and the compelling Hansford Rowe on bass, freeing Lozaga to explore and improvise over atmospheric rhythm beds with double- and triple-tracked guitar lines. Blistering soloing and chilling feedback along with creative arrangements and structures complete the progressive soundscape. The "Full Circle/Coming Home" compositions (6, 7, 8, 9) generally build from soft arpeggios and/or straightforward opening riffs to climactic wind-ups that feature plenty of complex and original guitar lines.
