Cadillac Hitmen
"Tri-State Killing Spree"
|
"Tri-State Killing Spree" is the band's follow up CD to 1997's "The Assassin", finding the Cadillac Hitmen releasing the soundtrack to an imaginary journey of murder, madness and mayhem, painted with the brush of an artist and the soul of a rattler. From its quieter moments of lonely panoramic desert vistas to angry scenes blazing with aggressively vibro-picked and reverb-drenched guitar, "Tri-State Killing Spree"'s instrumentals borrow sounds from surf, punk and scores of scores. The Cadillac Hitmen walk the line between Ennio Morricone, Ry Cooder, Dick Dale and Quentin Tarantino, armed with the high caliber instruments of destruction.
