Jurgen Knautz (bass), Eddy Teger (keys), Marco Bussi (drums) and Peter Autschbach (guitar) make up Terminal A - a fusion unit that blends electric and acoustic guitars, exotic percussion and tons of fusion experience on their CD, Transcontinental. The recordings at the Topaz studio in Cologne couldn't have worked better! Luckily the big technical problem at the beginning of the recording session (Autschbach's amp broke for two hours) couldn't stop the band from coming home with an incredible result: Everybody worked perfectly together, percussionist Ramesh Shotham gave a nice extra kick to the music. Autschbach comments, "We recorded live (like always) because it's the only way to capture the musical communication between the players. After the recordings everybody was very happy with the quality of both the playing and the sound. It was a great atmosphere during these two days, we worked hard and concentrated while at the same time having lots of fun."
