Dream Theater

"Train Of Thought"

The Story
Dream Theater has maintained a rare combination of stellar musicianship and unwavering passion for over a decade, selling millions of albums and filling concert venues worldwide. The band once again confirms its status as progressive hard rock's standardbearers on their latest studio epic - "Train Of Thought". Prepare to be knocked off your chair by the powerhouse drumming (Mike Portnoy) and mindblowing riffs and solos (John Petrucci) as the band stretches out (excepting the three-minute "Vacant" interlude, the average song length is over twelve minutes), allowing for long instrumental passages of brilliance. The instrumental track, "Stream Of Consciousness", offers eleven-plus minutes of heavy, technical wizardry, proving that Dream Theater has lost none of their edge over the years.
