This is an interesting story. The working title for this tune was �Snack Flight�, named after a short flight Dale took to Seattle. He thought it was so funny, but everyone else thought it was kinda lame. So, it was the last night of recording and the band had gone out to dinner to discuss album details like song titles. As we ate our Taco Bell meal, Jen pointed to the receipt and our dinner total: $9.34. There you have it.

Signs And Symbols
This was the first tune written for the group to play so I kind of wanted to feature everyone. The first couple minutes are over a "B" pedal tone, before the A section melody is re-harmonised. The guitar solo is followed by a bass solo, which then goes to the last section, where Tim takes it out with a sax solo.
