Hpcrazy "Touch My Soul": Track-By-Track

Andalucia
This is a song representing my new concept of my solo - liveperformance play with a special playing technic which is called touch technic. I call it andalusia because I was allways fascinated by flamenco and the analusian aproach to music.

Orange Blues
A Blues played solo on the classical accoustic guitar. The color orange is relating to the color of the music you are hearing.

Travelling On A Ray Of Light
A flamenco based song which a lots of improvised elements on the accoustic sologuitar. The title is the picture which I imagine while playing this song.

Convergence Of Two Souls
This song is showing the harmony which can be between two souls. You can hear that at least on the beginning of the song. I recorded this song at a time where I could feel how much such a convergence could mean.

Inspiration Of Light
A composition showing the light and inmagination through music.

Swaziland
This is the latest part of my Swaziland trilogy which shows 2 parts of it : Swaziland A mystic country somewhere in Afrika. It is a quite spiritual place. Man - Eating in Swaziland This is the 3. part of the trilogy. It took me 5 years till I got the inspiration to complete the Swaziland trilogy. You can hear this part in the second part of the recording. The idea was that arriving in Swaziland suddely I reach a place where I could see a tribe of natives having somebody in a big pot ready to cook a white man wearing a tropical helmet. This picture I didn't mean too serios. I was thinking about those hollywood films where they were showing such scenes on the more humorous way with a really big pot and a lot of vegetable swimming around and sometimes wiht a blond woman screaming in the pot as well. On this recording you might here the native warriors dancing around and the boiling water getting hotter and hotter.

Coffeeshop
This is track to relax. The mood is very smooth the color of the picture is showing the mood created with this song. The title of the song is not related to the coffeeshops in Amsterdam. It should get you in a indigo mood without any drugs. The meaning of this song is to get this indigo - mood. This is a place where time and space have a other dimension.

Chicken Wings
This song is a fast house-beat with a cool jazzguitar and is featuring a chicken ( as you can see on the picture ) running around. Just try to imagine how it feels beeing a chicken and running around and you will understand this song.

Jumping The Groove
This is a funky composition I played on my concert on 4.6.05 in Dübendorf near Zürich. To really get into the groove I imagined that I was juming to the groove like a ball or on a trampolin.

Cruising
This is my favorite track on the CD. Imagine a dove cruising over the ocean and imagine yourself beeing that dove.

Balade
This is a wonderful balded played with two guitars.

Slide Between Two Worlds
This song has two different meanings. First the title is relating to the playing technic which is called " slide guitar " . Second it is describing the difficulties to be in the world where you have to pay the rent and the creative world where material things do not have any relevancy.

Sad Colors
This is a composition on solopiano describing the colors of a forest in autumne. Even that the song is sad you can still here hopness about the things to come in it.

Choral Of The Spirits
This is a song which I composed for the piano. I woke up in the morning an I had this song in my mind and recorded it. This song shall show the dignity of the spirits.
