innie Moore is one of the most technical guys out there. Vinnie's style and compositions are amazing. He mixes up slow soulful melodies and slips in real nice speed runs. What I like best is that for the most part he picks every note. His articulation is clean, fast and fluid.
Jordan Rudes adds depth to the album with some very fine keyboard work. This album's strength is obvious in the songwriting. I once heard that this guy was a technical machine with no soul. After listening to this album I think all would agree that Vinnie's chops are indeed outstanding but that he also plays with true feeling.
Best song: "Race With Destiny" showcases an amazing diminished lick that covers a large part of the neck. I have both of Vinnie's instructional videos. He's just such a nice guy, he even teaches the diminished lick that I just spoke of. Vinnie covers "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" by George Harrison. He plays the vocal melodies on guitar while slipping real cool passages between the soulful style bends of Harrison. He also tackles: "Piano Concerto No. 5" (2nd Movement by J.S. Bach). Great composition describes this album best.
