Peter Tripp

"The Wild Side Of The Street"

The Story
"The Wild Side Of The Street" is the title of the rock/fusion release from Arizona-based guitarist Peter Tripp. The CD features eleven songs -- primarily framed rhythmically rather than melodically -- with extended, blues-based improvisational sections dominating the soundscape. Tripp also flavors his compositions with harmonica, keyboards and the occasional saxophone, along with 'trippy' elements on several intros that recall the music of bands such as Ozric Tentacles. You'll find his music unique in the rock idiom -- music that reminds you of another place or time while taking you to a different era in your mind.
