Fusion/Jazz
Logic? proudly announces the release of it's second album, entitled The Waiting Game. This new release showcases the ensemble's diverse musical influences, and their evolving group concept. While maintaining a focus on developing a fresh, contemporary sound, the group (featuring guitarist Glenn Cannon) also prides itself on preserving the spontaneous and interactive approach of the jazz tradition. The seven tracks presented on The Waiting Game represent a variety of different styles, and contrast from compositions based on complex rhythmic and harmonic patterns, to simple grooves. Six of the tracks are originals, with the only cover being an extended arrangement of the Dizzy Gillespie classic, "A Night in Tunisia". Band members include Tim Wilson on saxophone, Craig Newman on bass, Darryn Farrugia on drums and Craig Schneider on keyboards. Dave Newdick also contributes trumpet on "NAMM Spam".
Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Jazz), total running time, 58:53
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Glenn Cannon?
