letter t still feels amazing deep inside of my heart and soul meeting new and especially great worldwide artists. I was totally unfamiliar with Eric til i received his fifth album last week. This guy is an American native with an extraordinary style handling in the first place an electric guitar but also, Eric plays several other instruments in a way we all can dream about. By the way, he's the owner of The Midwest Premier Guitar Instruction Service since 1979. Since then, he took more than 3000 students under his wings to learn them all to the most impressive musical tactics.

The Mantel family contains six children and Eric is the youngest of all, more than probably the one born with a six string in his hands. Started at a very young aged led him to something amazing, something phenomenal! He's nearly 43 years old at this moment and so far Eric can be discribed as a world class, multi instrumentalist which means give the man in the first place an electric guitar or even a piano, a bass guitar, a drumkit, violin or whatever...no matter what it takes, Eric can handle it all without problems. Over the top great singer / songwriter Eric Mantel new album "The Unstruck Melody" isn't a pure Metal album-not even close, let that be clear!

To me, it's a musical journey through different styles of music. Stand sharp for at least 20 incredible, blistering songs which ranges from Fusion / Jazz / Country to Rock / Classical or Blues...you should hear it yourself to belief these are the facts like they are. I'm not interested in Jazz, Fusion, Easy listening kinda stuff but it's the way Eric put all these forms of music together to create some beautiful works. My attention fells on his guitar duties and recognized influences of greats like Steve Vai, George Bellas, Eric Johnson, Satriani and so on.

All the containg songs are made with an eye for excellent ways of technical performances, just fantastic. Not a fully Metal album but definitely one that keeps spinning around in your mind for a long time after. Rock artists capable of creating such a pearl, well nothing but my personal respect is all i can tell. Eric is the name, a diverse / unique style of making music is the game. A guitar prodigy from the seventies with a virtuosity-versatility-transendent-tone!! Order this masterpiece right away and and discover something real unique. MY POINTS: 88 / 100
