letter e are ahead of a work of highest level in the panorama of the current musical production in general terms. The record opens in the artist, or either, with steps and assobios of proper Eric Mantel, who after that says something, bind the radio and go moving of station, in that if it follows a nocturnal sound of crickets, a stream, rain, bells, guitar, gong and sitar (Indian instrument that if still became sufficiently popular from the years 60 favours the master Ravi Shankar and the Beatles and the Rolling Stones). This was the band heading, The Unstruck Melody. One is about a work that exceeds labels: rock, pop, jazz, instrumental music contemporary...? The COMPACT DISC is composed of 20 bands, being that 8 of them possess letter and, therefore, vocal. Eric Mantel also shows to be an excellent vocalista. In this its work it is folloied by highly competent musicians (low, keyboards, battery, percussion, guitar, to sitar, tampura, tamboori, tablas), this without speaking in the excellent vocalistas that follow it and they assist it. We cannot leave to detach the excellent proportionate climatic tickets for the keyboards and the Indian instruments. Eric also declares openly its influences in encarte of the COMPACT DISC, which include, beyond the ones of always and obvious (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page), some of the masters of the guitar of the gradual rock as Steve Howe (YES), Greg Lake (ELP) and Alex Lifeson (RUSH). The third band, The Simple Things, compare the wisdom of the American indians with the lack of espiritualidade and ignorance of the American white man. This COMPACT DISC is indicated the fans of works of guitarists of the most varied styles and trends, since those cited by Eric as its influences until the calls virtuoses, as It goes, Satriani, Malmsteen and others, and also including people as Pat Metheny, the Duo Acoustic Alchemy, Alex de Grassi, Will Ackerman, (already the deceased one) Michael Hedges and too much artists of the stamp Windham Hill Records. I will dare to still include the fans of the Gandalf Austrian. The Unstruck Melody is grateful and agradabilissima surprise in music substance!
